Neil Murray is our Director of Music. He graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1993 with an Honours Bachelor of Music Education. The following year, he studied chamber music at the Bordeaux Conservatory in France. Neil taught privately for 16 years, offering lessons on piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute and guitar. He has been involved in church work as a music director for over 20 years! Along with his work at Parkminster, Neil currently teaches K-8 music at a Montessori school.
Neil says he’s fortunate to have a passion, music, which has been turned into a career. He performs several times a month in a local band which has been together for over a decade. Neil shares that he enjoys working at Parkminster because of the musical diversity an adds that there are many knowledgeable volunteers who offer their support and enthusiasm for any activity.
